Vittoria C855 is a prototype Fast Interceptor, designed to be used in operations for the protection of human life at sea and to hinder illegal immigration, smuggling, piracy. Thanks to the truncated bow, the boarding operations are simpler and, therefore, it is easier to neutralize the criminals through direct collision. The wells have also been studied to allow the use of ballistic protection systems. This state-of-the-art boat can reach the exceptional speed of 78 knots, equal to about 145 kilometres per hour.
