The Vittoria C855 is a Fast Interceptor prototype, designed for the safeguard of human life at sea and for fighting illegal immigration, smuggling and piracy. Its blunt bow allows easier boarding operations and helps to neutralize criminals in case of direct clash. In addition, the wells have been designed to allow the employment of ballistic protection systems.
Considered a realistic prototype for future use, it is able to reach the extraordinary speed of 78 knots, equal about to 145 km/h.
